South Tyrolean Cuisine
Two cultures, to be precise!
In fact, while the landlady Bibiana is an authentic Tyrolean, her husband Maurizio has Tuscan origins.
It’s especially at the table that you can notice (or better “taste”) the creative fusion of these two regions, all the more since our new chef Alessandro Martellini is Tuscan, too.
With his innate passion for cookery, his early career and his competence, the chef will propose traditional recipes and typical food, blending modern cuisine and local traditions.
“ The goodness of our dishes is made possible by the use of fresh ingredients and high-quality products from local producers. ”
We also pay a great attention to food intolerances and allergies, because we care your health.
Whatever your culinary desire, our gourmet restaurant will satisfy you.
Our weekly appointments will make you live “tasty” moments, with dessert buffets and typical snacks.
We propose a wide selection of excellent wines from South Tyrol and Tuscany that you can match to the gourmet dishes prepared by our chef: world-renowned wines that you can taste while dining or during the tastings in our cellar, with our sommelier Giuseppe Allegro.
Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah, Gewürztraminer are only some of the wines we offer.
If you want to continue your culinary experience in Val Gardena, you could enjoy one of the excursions to our cabin: a magical place surrounded by meadows, with a panoramic view on the mountains. A suggestive location for an enjoyable picnic in typical Tyrolean style; a likeable chance to taste typical local products, including spek and cheeses, without which your holidays in South Tyrol could not be defined as such.
Well, you won’t miss anything during your experience at the Tyrol Hotel!
It will be a pleasure for your palate, too, because our aim is to make you feel the atmosphere of Val Gardena and we know that tradition can be lived also at the table.
We are sure that your search for the taste and your appetite won’t be disappointed!
